LEED® Certification and Energy Star® Certification

LEED® certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building, home or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health. The administering agency is the United States Green Building Council.

ENERGY STAR® is a program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that recognizes energy-efficient products, homes, and buildings. ENERGY STAR® certified buildings save energy, save money, and help protect the environment. To be certified as ENERGY STAR®, a building must meet strict energy performance standards set by EPA.

Bright Energy Services, with LEED Accredited Professionals and Green Associates on staff, manages projects to help facility owners and managers gain the independent, third party, LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications for their buildings.
